On October 23, 2006, Marci fell victim to domestic violence and passed away 3 days later. We have mourned her loss in our own ways and now it’s time for us to celebrate her life.
Marci's March is designed to celebrate a life too short and to educate young people, especially women, about the signs of domestic violence and methods of prevention. As many of you know, Marci was a teacher at Brush High School. Her goal was to educate students and foster their growth through learning. It's now our mission to continue educating others as Marci would have wanted.
Please join us again, in remembrance of Marci and those who’ve been affected by domestic violence by attending the Second Annual “Marci’s March” on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Korb Field at Brush High School in Lyndhurst, Ohio. The steps we continue to take in honor of Marci are steps mourning her loss, but also are steps marching forward, helping other women break free from the senseless act of domestic violence.
